When to Go to the Urgent Care Center

ATTENTION - Effective October 14th, the Torrance Urgent Care will be relocating
to 2900 Lomita Blvd., Torrance.

Ever noticed that illness often strikes when your doctor’s office is closed? Many people head to the emergency room where they wait two or three hours or more to see a doctor. But before you race to the ER, consider that 30% of health problems seen in the emergency room could be treated at one of Torrance Memorial’s Urgent Care Centers.

“30% of minor health problems seen in the Emergency Room could be seen in the Urgent Care Center”

For instance, you can seek treatment for ailments such as colds, flu, sinus and lung infections, sore throats, stomach problems, bladder infections, sprains, strains, minor injuries and much more. Most importantly, you’ll be seen far more quickly than in the emergency room and you’ll be seen by a Torrance Memorial IPA physician.

Coordinated Care

Another plus is the coordinated medical care you’ll receive during your visit. Your attending doctor will fax over records of your visit to your primary care physician or specialists right way so they’re up to speed on your current health situation.
